The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is partnering with NASA to host Observe the Moon Night Saturday, Oct. 21, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This free event takes place at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration and includes DJ Dance providing music for a family-friendly evening of moon-gazing.

Participating in the event are NASA's Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI), the Von Braun Astronomical society, the University of Alabama in Huntsville Astronomy and Space Hardware Clubs and Janet Ivey, creator of Janet’s Planet.

Mr. Bond’s Science Guys will provide hands-on STEM demonstrations. Other activities include a laser robot show in the Rocket Center’s National Geographic Theater, airbrush facepainting, photo booths, and NASA’s virtual reality simulators.
