The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is partnering with Alabama Public Television and WLRH public radio for a preview of excerpts from the new Ken Burns’ film, “Leonardo da Vinci.” Rocket Center Curator Ed Stewart will give a talk about da Vinci as an inventor whose concepts influenced early flight before the preview. The event takes place at the Davidson Center’s National Geographic Theater Nov. 12 at 6 p.m.
A reception with hors d’oeuvres follows in the Saturn V Hall. The event is free, but tickets are required and are now available at the Rocket Center ticket desk.
