CAMP WRISTBANDS

To make purchases easy and secure, campers can use a reloadable wristband account during their stay. This allows them to buy souvenirs, snacks, and other items on campus without needing to carry cash.

Your camper will receive their wristband when they check into camp.

WHERE CAN THE WRISTBAND BE USED?

Funds can be used at:

  • Camp stores
  • U.S. Space & Rocket Center gift shops
  • Planetarium snack bar
  • Other campus concession locations

Wristband funds cannot be used in vending machines (cash and debit/credit cards can be used)

WHO CAN USE A WRISTBAND ACCOUNT?

Wristband accounts are available for campers attending programs that are 5 days or longer.

This service is not available for:

  • Family Space Camp
  • Family Aviation Challenge Camp
  • Adult Space Academy
  • HLCA
  • Ultimate Field Trips
  • Museum daily groups

HOW DO I ADD FUNDS?

About 3 weeks before camp, you’ll receive an email with your camper’s wristband information and account number.

  • Easiest Option: Give Us a Call!
    • Call our Sales Center at 1-800-637-7223 (Option 1)
    • Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM CT
    • We’ll be happy to add funds to your camper’s account over the phone.
  • Add Funds In Person
    • You can also add funds at any gift shop register on campus.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:

  • The wristband is linked to your camper’s account balance.
  • Campers can use their funds throughout the week for snacks, beverages, souvenirs, and other purchases on campus.
  • You can add more funds at any time during camp.
  • If a wristband is lost, campers should report it as soon as possible.
  • Funds are non-transferable.

WHAT IF MY CAMPER DOES NOT USE ALL OF THEIR FUNDS?

Refund requests can be submitted by emailing wristbands@spacecamp.com.

Please include:

  • Camper’s full name
  • Mailing address
  • Wristband account number

Please note:

  • A $10 processing fee applies to refund requests.
  • Refunds are not available for balances under $10.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take up to 6 weeks to process.

  • Debit cards
